Which educational offers exist in our district?
Kongsvinger University College Center brings higher education in Kongsvinger to a new level. We are focusing on unique, relevant and forward looking studies.
Together with Høgskolen i Innlandet (HINN) and the business community, we have developed a new specialization in the master's program in economics and management (MSc; Digital Management and Business Analytics). In 2020, together with HINN, we started a new program entitled Bachelor's degree in sustainability economics. This is the first established study in Norway in the field of sustainability economics, and will help to cover a well-documented competence gap in business and the public sector. It is well documented that companies that focus on sustainability have better results. This is a bachelor's degree that is not only permeated by the idea of sustainability, but also qualifies for admission to a master's degree in business administration.
We have for many years been a reliable provider of higher education in the Kongsvinger region. Among other things, we have provided training for nurses, teachers, economists, social workers, and held a number of courses for the business community and the public administrations.

With a bachelor programme in nursing, a bachelor degree programme in sustainability economics, a Master of Business Administration course, a number of shorter educations in economics and management and in-demand vocational school offers, we are equipped to serve both the Kongsvinger region and the rest of the country with relevant educations.
In addition to offering studies qualifying for academic credits, we also deliver and facilitate a number of different courses, supplementary education and further training both with and without credits. There are possibilities for both short-term courses aimed at private, public and business life in addition to tailor-made longer courses specially designed for one or more companies.
The goal is to further develop Kongsvinger as a college town and help lift the business community to new heights.
We are ready for the future!
